Rotate and Place Text on an Image

Frist to start off you will need to save the Image Center on your fkey. It will make imaging a lot easier.

.. To Rotate and Place Text ..

1. Take this image to Image Magick. Sample Image

2. Click on Annotate

3. Enter your name or other text in the text box shown. I entered Rocki.

4. Keep gravity = center and make the location -38-90

(I seem to always have better luck using center since I have not mastered the placement...LOL The left set of numbers in the location controls moving the text left to right. The right set of numbers controls up and down.  - goes to the left or up and + moves to the right or down.)

5. Make fill color black or whatever dark color you like to show on the image. The text wil show in the moon using the location setting listed.

6. Make font size 24 to start. Depending on which font you pick or the amount of letters in your text you will have to adjust this size. I used 24 here for the size.

7. Now check off the font style you would like to use. I picked   Art Brush.

8. Next scroll down to Rotate and make that -30.This will rotate it just a bit upward. You will need to play with this setting also..:o)

9. Now scroll back up and click on annotate.

10. Here is what it should look like. Finished Sample Image

11. Next click on Output.

12. Click on Format then GIF, Single file button and then Output.

13. Then click on your image shown to transload to your files.

Remember when placing text on an image, most of the time it is trial and error to get it placed. All fonts are not the same size, so you need to experiment with the Location and the Rotate settings to get it just the way you want. Just keep going back and adjusting them so they are exactly where you want it to show...:o)
