Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

   8 ozCream Cheese Room Temp.
   4 ozBlue Cheese, Crumbled
   4 ozCheddar Cheese; Shredded
   2 tsp Mustard; Dijon-style
   1 tsP Worcestershire Sauce
   1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
   1/4 tsp Salt
   1/2 cup Pecans; Finely Chopped
   3/4 cup Currants
   3/4 cup Parsley
   ChoppedAssorted Crackers
   Apple Wedges

Instructions: Place the cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and salt in a mixer bowl and beat at low speed just until well mixed.
Stir in the pecans and currants
. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Refrigerate the cheese mixture for 30 minutes or until slightly firm, then shape into a ball.
Roll in the chopped parsley to coat well.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving
. Place on a platter surrounded with crackers and apple wedges.



TACO PARTY WINGS

Ingredients:

   To prepare 2 pounds of chicken drummettes, combine:
   1 pkg. taco seasoning,
   1/4 c. cornmeal,
   3/4 tsp. salt and
   2 tsp. parsley flakes in a plastic bag.

Instructions: shake wings in a bag, a few at a time til coated.
Place in single layer on ungreased shallow baking pans.
Bake in 350º oven 25 minutes.
Turn wings and bake 10 minutes or until tender



Taco Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

   1 lb. ground beef
   1 lb. Velvetta Mexican Cheese
   1 lb. Velvetta Cheese
   1 can Armour Chili (No beans)

Instructions: Brown ground beef. Combine with rest of ingrdients and put in crockpot until cheese is melted. Serve with Nacho Chips!



Mexican Confetti Squares

Ingredients:

   1 (8oz) cream cheese (softened)
   1/2 cup sour cream
   1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
   1 jar (2 ounces) diced pinientos, drained
   2 Tbl sliced green onions
   2 Tbl chopped mild green chilies, drained
   2 Tbl chopped black olives
   10, 8-inch flour tortillas
   Paprika or chili power
  

Instructions: 1. In a small mixer bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream and beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often. until smooth.
2. By hand, stir in cheese, pinientos, green onions, chilies and olives.
3. Spread about 1/3 cup cream cheese mixture over on tortilla. 4. Top with another tortilla, and spread about 1/3 mixture.
5. Repeat layering 2 more times ending with a tortilla. (5 total tortillas)
6. Repeat this process with the remaining 5 tortillas.
6. Wrap seperately in plastic food wrap, and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
7. To serve, cut tortillas into 1-inch squares
8. Sprinkle tops with paprika or chili powder. Serve with toothpicks.
9. Makes about 6 dozen.



BEST EVER CURRY DIP

   1 Cup mayonnaise
   2 T. curry powder
   1 T. Worcestershire Sauce
   3 T. Ketchup
   dash of garlic salt
   1 1/2 T. grated or flaked onion

chill. If you like curry dip,
you'll LUV this one...Best
one I've ever had..Great with
Veggies or over chicken strips.
(Try it with sweet potatoe strips, too....)

Instructions: PRE-HEAT THE OVEN ON ABOUT 325DEGREES,THEN MIX BARBQUE SAUCE AND GRAPE JELLY IN A 9X13IN BAKING PAN THEN ADD THE DEFROSTED PACK OF LIL SMOKIES,NEXT ROLL THE LIL SMOKIES IN THE BARBQUE SAUCE, THEN PUT THEM IN THE OVEN FOR ABOUT 15 MINS



Home Made Onion Soup Mix

Ingredients:

  
   Better and less costly than Lipton’s store bought!
   Makes one pint = to 4 envelopes
  
  
   7 oz. Beef Bouillon Powder (3/4 Cup+) *see note below
   ½ teaspoon pepper
   1 cup dried minced onion (purchased as above also)
   ½ Cup onion powder (ground from the minced onion above)
   ¼ Cup parsley flakes
   Little salt

Instructions: *I buy bullion cubes in bulk (Sam’s or BJ’s or online) then grind them to a powder with a small hand coffee grinder, which buy the way, I do not drink coffee but this little machine comes in handy for grinding all sorts of spices, herbs, peppercorns ect.

Combine ingredients and Store in glass canning jar or other air tight container
To use for dip combine ¼ Cup mix with 1 pint sour cream and chill.



Cucumber Sandwiches

Ingredients:

   1 loaf coctail rye bread
   1 package Good Seasons powdered Italian salad dressing mix
   1 tub whipped cream cheese
   2 large cucumbers
   Dill weed

Instructions: Lay out cocktail ryes on a cookie sheet.
Combine dressing mix and cream cheese in bowl.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on one side of all of the breads.
Peel and slice cucumbers to make round slices.
Place 1 cucumber slice on each bread.
Sprinkle dill over top of each one.
Serve open-faced like that.
